Fabriano: the medieval old town, the Paper and Watermark Museum, Valdicastro Hermitage.
Matelica: the old town with ancient Roman remains, tastings of typical products and Verdicchio.
Apiro: the beautiful Abbey of Sant’Urbano.
Genga: with a visit to the karst complex of the Frasassi Caves, a spectacle of exceptional beauty, the Valadier Temple and the Romanesque abbey of S. Vittore.
Arrive in Fabriano, guided tour of the historic center starting from the cathedral (rebuilt in 1617 and dedicated to San Venanzo), the Pojo, the Tetro Gentile, the Oratorio della Carità, Sant’Onofrio and the Crypt of San Romualdo. Then through the medieval city, visit the Museum of Paper and Watermark in which the historical phases of handmade paper are illustrated. Lunch with tourist menu In the afternoon departure for tastings of wine and cold meats in typical winery, visit to the Enoteca Comunale and Teatro Piermarini di Matelica. Return to Fabriano, dinner and overnight.
Breakfast in the hotel and the whole morning dedicated to shopping. Lunch with typical local menu. In the early afternoon departure to visit the Castles and Abbeys with tastings of typical products in San Urbano d’Apiro and Val di Castro. Return to Fabriano, dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Genga to visit the Frasassi Caves, the Abbey of San Vittore delle Chiuse and the Valadier Temple. Lunch in a restaurant.
